SACHINI AYENDRA

Sachini Ayendra Stanley, born on April 8, 1982, in Kandy, Sri Lanka, is a distinguished actress and model whose journey from beauty queen to celebrated film star has inspired many. She began her career in the spotlight by winning the Miss Sri Lanka title in 2003, representing her country at the 53rd Miss World Pageant in Sanya, China. Her transition into acting was marked by her debut in the 2004 film Aadaraneeya Wassaanaya, directed by Senesh Dissanayake Bandara, which earned her the Best Supporting Actress award at the Signis Sri Lanka Film Awards.

Throughout her career, Sachini has showcased her versatility across various roles in both television and film. Notably, she portrayed Malini in the 2006 series Surangana Duwa and Mohan in the 2009 series Situ Diyaniyo. Her filmography includes acclaimed works such as Sankara and Nimnayaka Hudekalawa.
