SPORTS WORLD-ANGELO MATHEWS

Angelo Mathews is a professional cricketer who has represented Sri Lanka at the international level. He was born on June 2, 1987 in Colombo, Sri Lanka and is a right-handed batsman and right-arm off-break bowler. Mathews made his debut for the Sri Lankan national team in 2009 and has been a key player for the team in all three formats of the game.

Mathews is known for his consistent performances and his ability to score runs and take wickets. He has scored over 4,000 runs and taken over 150 wickets in international cricket, and he has been a key player for Sri Lanka in both Test and One Day International (ODI) cricket. In addition to his success as a batsman and bowler, Mathews is also known for his fielding ability and his leadership skills. He has captained the Sri Lankan national team in all three formats of the game.

Mathews is highly respected and admired by fans and fellow players alike and is considered one of the best all-rounders in the world. He is currently playing for the Colombo Kings in the Lanka Premier League and is an important player for the team.

Kumar Sangakkara is a retired Sri Lankan cricketer who is widely regarded as one of the greatest batsmen in the history of the sport.
