WORLD OF WATERFALLS - ANGEL FALLS, VENEZUELA

Angel Falls is a waterfall located in Venezuela and is the highest waterfall in the world, with a total height of 3,212 feet. It is named after Jimmy Angel, an American aviator who discovered the falls in 1933 while searching for a gold mine.

Angel Falls is located in the Canaima National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that covers an area of more than 3 million acres in the southeastern region of Venezuela. The falls are fed by the Churun River, which flows over the edge of the Auyantepui mountain and falls a distance of 2,648 feet before reaching the base of the falls. The remaining distance of the falls is made up of cascades and smaller falls.

Angel Falls is a popular tourist destination, although it is difficult to access due to its remote location. Visitors can reach the falls by boat or by hiking through the jungle, and there are a number of tour companies that offer guided tours.

Overall, Angel Falls is a breathtaking and awe-inspiring natural wonder that attracts visitors from all over the world. Its beautiful setting and impressive height make it a must-see destination for anyone interested in natural beauty.
